I just started to painting at fifty to experiment with creative. For me that comes with no instruction book or something to copy from. All my painting are from the imagination, patterns or symbols. The focus is bright colors, texture, line and space. Sometimes coming up with and new orginal idea can be challenging. If I do not like the painting I throw it away or rinse it off and start again there is always room to grow. Sometimes painting comes out unexpectedly which is like a secret unconcious thought from somewhere unknown parallel dimension. Most of my paintings has a story behind it or symbols. When I get out in nature or quiet areas I get more inspiration. To enjoy a paint I have to be happy with the turn out and not rely on others to approve of them, after all they are on my walls for display. Paintings have to be enjoyable and self -fullfilling it best not to judge yourself against others but best to be unique.  If interested in any art 16 by 20 acrylic orginal piece it sells for 85$ with shipping USA.
